Job Description

The Renewals Account Executive role involves managing and renewing high-value enterprise accounts in Mexico, negotiating renewal terms, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring long-term customer retention to support Samsara's connected operations platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value renewal accounts, leading the entire renewal process from quoting to negotiation and securing approvals.
  • Drive full-cycle commercial execution to maximize long-term customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline data, providing scenario forecasts and risk analysis.
  • Collaborate with customer success managers and account executives to identify expansion opportunities and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Own the health of the territory by proactively addressing churn, advocating for the Mexico market, and exceeding retention targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle closing or strategic renewals experience, specifically managing Enterprise Mexico accounts.
  • Proven track record of managing a quarterly quota of 3 million USD with deal sizes above 300,000 USD.
  • Experience navigating the Mexico business landscape and understanding regional market trends.
  • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder save cycles and handle complex procurement legal requirements during negotiations.
  • Expert proficiency in Salesforce and a disciplined approach to pipeline management.
  • Ability to act as the primary commercial lead for a portfolio of 50-75 renewals per quarter, managing high-touch accounts ranging from 500,000 USD.
  • Drive full-cycle commercial execution, including initial quoting, complex negotiations, and securing internal approvals, with a focus on prioritizing 36-month terms.
  • Forecast with precision by maintaining impeccable Salesforce hygiene, providing scenario forecasting, and delivering data-driven insights.
  • Partner seamlessly with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Account Executives (AEs) to identify expansion opportunities and ensure a frictionless customer experience.
  • Take full accountability for the territory’s health by proactively solving for churn, advocating for the Mexico market, and exceeding retention targets.
