Job Description
The Sales Director will lead and develop enterprise sales teams, driving the adoption of Samsara's IoT solutions across various industries, while managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets in the Eastern Canada region.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement coaching and development strategies for Account Executives
- Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics
- Coordinate involvement of Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance objectives and customer expectations
- Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles within the team
- Focus on customer success and building long-term relationships
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising a sales team in the Eastern Canada in a management capacity
- Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead and motivate enterprise sales teams
- Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology
- At least 8 years of technology sales experience
- At least 5 years of experience managing a team sales supervision and/or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SAAS sales
