A Sales Director role responsible for managing and developing enterprise sales teams, driving large and complex deals, and contributing to the growth of Samsara's IoT-based connected operations platform in Eastern Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Implement coaching and development strategies for Account Executives
Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics
Coordinate with Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance and customer expectations
Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles within the team
Focus on customer success and building long-term relationships
Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team
Requirements
Previous experience supervising a sales team in Eastern Canada in a management capacity
Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead, and motivate enterprise sales teams
Solid understanding of SFDC (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting methodology
At least 8 years of technology sales experience
At least 5 years of experience managing a sales team or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SaaS sales
Experience managing and developing Account Executives through effective coaching and development
Ability to collaborate with the executive team to develop performance metrics
Experience coordinating the involvement of Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance objectives and customer expectations
Demonstrated success in managing and leading an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing sales team
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Passion for helping Account Executives close large, complex deals
