Job Description

A sales role focused on bringing Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers in the DACH region, involving prospecting, managing customer engagements, and closing deals to help improve physical operations across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new customers within the DACH region to expand Samsara's business.
  • Manage end-to-end customer engagements, including prospecting, qualification, and closing sales.
  • Conduct technical POCs, manage trials, and negotiate multi-faceted pricing with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, legal, sales engineering, and deal desk to facilitate deal closure.
  • Develop expertise in Samsara's products and sales methodologies to effectively sell solutions.
  • Participate in trade shows and events to promote the Samsara brand and connect with prospects.
  • Map strategic accounts and execute outbound prospecting to grow the sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 months experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Track record of strong quota achievement, particularly in new business.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10k in ARR.
  • Native-level German language skills, having experience working in the DACH region.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling or willingness to do so, and confidence in self-generated pipeline generation.
  • Experience selling in the mid-market space with medium to large deal sizes is preferred.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) and MEDDIC sales methodology.
  • Experience working with Industrial or Blue collar personas.
