Job Description

The Enterprise Customer Success Manager works closely with top customers to understand their operational challenges, customize Samsara's IoT platform solutions, and ensure they achieve safety, efficiency, and sustainability goals through strategic partnership and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with top customers to understand their fleet and operational challenges.
  • Advise customers on how to customize Samsara's platform to meet their needs.
  • Develop and execute joint success plans with customers, including objectives, metrics, and timelines.
  • Conduct executive business reviews to align on past successes and future goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to analyze current operations and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Explain Samsara platform capabilities to diverse business types.
  • Support and mentor the Customer Success and Support teams.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in a senior Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting role.
  • Enterprise SaaS experience preferred.
  • Strong priority management and high emotional intelligence to handle a demanding position with high internal visibility.
  • Experience supporting or working with technical products.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering leadership, and day-to-day users of our software.
  • Passion for going above and beyond the call of duty, taking initiative, and thriving in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution.
  • Fluency in German.
  • Strong bias for action, the ability to think big, with insistence on high standards (preferred).
  • Experience serving and supporting large-scale business solutions at Fortune 500 companies (preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced, and change-heavy environment.
