Job Description
This role involves partnering with sales and cross-functional teams to analyze performance, develop insights, and drive initiatives that enhance sales efficiency and growth within a technology-driven company focused on IoT solutions for physical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights into business drivers, financial performance, and risks
- Develop and implement initiatives to scale sales performance and productivity to meet growth targets
- Analyze sales team performance and maintain analytical models for forecasting and productivity assessment
- Support business activities and prepare executive materials such as memos, slides, and business reviews
- Identify growth risks and develop action plans to mitigate them
- Embed and promote Samsara’s cultural principles within the team
Requirements
- 4-7 years of work experience in a management consulting firm and/or as a Sales Operations Business Operations or Financial Analyst.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple projects on a tight deadline.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Advanced decision-making, analytical, and logical reasoning skills, including the ability to be proactive and adapt quickly.
- Kind and collaborative orientation who is energized by working with a lot of different types of people from many teams.
- Deep comfort with analytical tools such as Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Databricks, and/or willingness to expand skill set to tackle new problems.
- Experience working with sales leadership and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about improving efficiencies to increase sales.
- Fully fluent in English.
