Job Description
The Vice President of Renewables at Unison Infrastructure is responsible for engaging landowners leasing their property for renewable energy projects, building trust, explaining programs, and guiding them through the closing process to maximize lease value, all in a remote, relationship-driven sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage landowners to explain programs and build trust
- Guide landowners through the closing process to maximize lease value
- Purchase leased property or easements from landowners
Requirements
- Must have experience engaging landowners who have leased their property to renewable energy developers, building trust, explaining programs, and guiding them through a transparent closing process to maximize the value of their existing lease.
- Must have the ability to purchase the leased property from the landowner or purchase an easement over the leased property.
- Must be driven and sharp in communication, with the ability to connect with people, solve problems, and make a meaningful impact in the clean energy sector.
- Must thrive in a relationship-driven sales environment.
- Must be comfortable working remotely full-time within the U.S.
- Must have the ability to build and manage an origination pipeline independently.
- Must possess the tools and skills necessary to succeed in a sales and relationship management role.
