Job Description

The Vice President of Renewables is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals through consultative sales and negotiation, to support the company's growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and advance a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads from contact to closing
  • Cultivate relationships with renewable energy property owners to build a sales pipeline
  • Manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients using a consultative approach
  • Achieve personal sales targets related to origination and closings
  • Monitor sales pipeline activity to ensure its health and stability
  • Contribute to origination processes, including data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and product development to maintain market competitiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
  • At least 4 years of B2C sales experience
  • Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
  • Exceptional negotiation skills required, with experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation and influence skills
  • Ability to manage a personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
  • Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
  • Contribute user-experience input to origination processes such as data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and product design to maintain a competitive market position
  • High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture
