The Onsite IT Specialist supports and troubleshoots technical issues for employees, manages hardware and system access, and assists with infrastructure projects to ensure smooth and secure office operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and assist users with technology and access issues
Manage a ticket queue and seek process improvements
Complete onboarding for new hires, including provisioning hardware and managing system access
Support hardware recovery and asset management
Manage office endpoints such as printers, laptops, and conferencing equipment
Oversee employee access to cloud infrastructure
Collaborate on infrastructure projects and upgrades, including network, security, and SaaS integrations
Document IT policies and procedures
Coordinate with teams for escalations and process enhancements
Deploy and manage systems to enhance collaboration and productivity
Plan and integrate workplace tools and services
Support and uphold company security and operational standards
Requirements
A college degree in a technical program such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or other STEM field, or 4 years relevant job experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience working onsite supporting employees in an IT environment.
Experience with enterprise SaaS tools such as G Suite, Slack, Zoom, Okta, etc.
Basic networking experience.
Strong spoken and written English language skills.
Availability to work Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 and occasional off-hours support for urgent technical issues or special events.
