Job Description
The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating sales opportunities through outbound outreach, building pipelines, and engaging with prospective customers to support the company's IoT and SaaS solutions across various industries, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Source pipelines for EMEA business through outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Generate sales opportunities and engage prospective customers
- Maintain detailed records of interactions in CRM Salesforce
- Become a product and sales process expert to effectively communicate value propositions
- Participate in trade shows and events to represent the Samsara brand and connect with prospects
- Support customer success and build long-term relationships with prospects
- Collaborate with team members and support account development activities
- Continuously develop sales skills through training and mentorship programs
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in customer facing roles
- 6-12 months of sales experience as a minimum
- Highly motivated and committed, with strong desire to work in target driven sales
- Proven track record of consistent over achievement of targets and expectations of previous roles
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Curious and able to ask insightful questions
- A champion of a Growth Mindset
- Highly proficient in English
- Experience in closing-sales roles
- Willingness to collaborate and influence in a win as a team environment
- Ability to work from our London office at 1 Alie Street, Aldgate East, E1 8DE twice per week
- Willingness to participate in training programs and professional development opportunities
- Ability to maintain meticulous records of interactions with accounts in CRM Salesforce.com
