Job Description

The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating leads, engaging prospective customers through outbound calls, and supporting the sales team to drive the adoption of IoT solutions that improve physical operations across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for leads and map enterprise accounts to identify potential customers
  • Build demand for Samsara's products through outbound campaigns and outreach
  • Qualify leads and distribute them to sales representatives
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within prospective organizations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing campaigns supporting sales
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer businesses and industry-specific needs
  • Maintain high activity levels by making approximately 50 cold calls daily

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to make 50 cold calls a day.
  • At least 3 months of sales experience and or sales prospecting ability, which can include sales related coursework, sales competitions, etc.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year Bachelor’s degree program.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and embed AI usage into day-to-day operations.
