Job Description
A leadership role overseeing the design, development, and deployment of a Travel Risk Management software product, combining technical expertise in software engineering with team management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the Travel Risk Management product
- Manage the professional development and technical direction of the engineering team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and support integrations
- Engage in coding and technical problem-solving using web technologies and APIs
- Drive the adoption of AI tools within the product and development processes
- Work in an Agile environment using tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack
- Serve as a point of contact and support for the Mexico City engineering team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field (preferred).
- Experience leading and managing a team of engineers (mandatory).
- At least 5 years of experience building scalable applications with modern frameworks, such as React, Django, and Node, including experience with third-party integrations.
- Experience with Amazon AWS (mandatory).
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying the Travel Risk Management product (mandatory).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage working on multiple projects in parallel (mandatory).
- Proficiency leveraging AI tools for product development (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in software development and a deep understanding of API integrations and cloud services (mandatory).
- Active coding and technical problem-solving skills in Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, or other web technologies (mandatory).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment (mandatory).
