The Sales Manager will drive business development and customer relationships for Rondo's innovative heat battery technology, supporting project origination, negotiations, and project execution in the industrial energy sector across the Middle East to promote decarbonization and renewable energy adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Develop existing pipeline and originate new prospects for Heat Battery projects
Manage key accounts, maintain customer relationships, and drive repeat business
Identify project value creation opportunities and develop project scope and business relationships
Collaborate with stakeholders to structure projects and develop turnkey solutions for industrial facilities
Support the development and implementation of project deal development processes
Qualify potential customers and evaluate their energy needs and transaction capability
Conduct meetings with potential customers and partners, and present at industry events
Maintain CRM data, forecast project opportunities, and track deal stages
Prepare customer presentations, perform preliminary technical and financial analyses
Draft key commercial documents such as MOUs, LOIs, and term sheets to facilitate agreements
Requirements
A degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; an MBA or Master’s degree in the Energy Sector is highly desirable
At least 5 years of experience with industrial sector business development and large capital equipment sales, with a preference for experience in two or all of the following areas: commercial and industrial micro-grid and combined heat and power projects, renewable project development including structuring project financing, and industrial energy efficiency projects
Proven track record in lead creation, customer relationship nurturing through execution, and repeat sales, both independently and as part of a team
Fluency in structuring and negotiating commercial contracts to find deal solutions that meet the needs of both the customer and the company
Familiarity with industrial sector energy procurement and energy-as-a-service business models
Deep knowledge of energy sectors in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar, with familiarity of those in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman
Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable but not required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including project financing modeling and cash flow analysis
Strong PowerPoint skills for creating clear, high-quality professional presentations
Exceptional written communication skills for preparing techno-economic analyses and documentation in English
The role will be remote and ideally based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Riyadh; applicants must be entitled to work in those locations, with no support for VISA sponsorships or relocation costs
