Job Description
A consulting role for an experienced engineer or researcher specializing in steam turbines and rotating equipment used in geothermal or thermal power systems, focusing on mechanical design, performance modeling, and component integration for high-efficiency geothermal power generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical input on turbine design for geothermal power systems
- Develop performance models for steam turbines, expanders, or rotating equipment
- Assist with component integration in small-scale, high-efficiency geothermal power systems
Requirements
- Expertise in steam turbines, expanders, or other rotating equipment used in geothermal or thermal power applications
- Ability to provide technical input on turbine design, performance modeling, and component integration for small-scale, high-efficiency power systems
- Experience in applying advanced mechanical design and thermodynamic modeling to real-world geothermal systems
- Senior engineer, researcher, or postdoctoral expert level of qualification
- Availability to work in a flexible consulting role for approximately 10 hours per month
