Job Description
The Sr. Client Solutions Manager at RES is responsible for marketing and securing ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience projects through relationship-building, strategic planning, and technical insight, primarily in the Philadelphia Metro Area and southern New Jersey, to deliver environmental results and support business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Market integrated delivery projects related to mitigation, water quality, and resilience to prospects and clients in the tri-state area.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities by managing external relationships and leading proposal development.
- Track permitting timelines, understand deal components, and manage cross-functional resources to bring projects from idea to execution.
- Represent RES at conferences, industry forums, and client meetings to promote environmental solutions and industry leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams across design, regulatory, finance, and construction to support project pursuit and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a related industry, dealing with complex solutions with a multi-year sales cycle and multiple stakeholders
- Experience assessing and managing project timelines, identifying risks, and aligning teams to meet deliverables
- Experience interpreting financial models and communicating the financial health of deals
- Experience with contracts and key provisions, with legal awareness in deal structuring
- Ability to build lasting relationships and solve complex client challenges
- Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bring in internal experts when needed
- Ability to read the room, adapt approach, and demonstrate resilience and urgency in a professional setting
