Job Description

The Client Solutions Manager at RES is responsible for marketing and securing ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience projects by building relationships, managing proposals, and representing the company to clients and industry partners in Northern Virginia, contributing to environmental restoration efforts and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market integrated delivery projects to prospects and clients in mitigation, water quality, and resilience
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in ecological restoration and water quality solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and industry partners
  • Lead proposal development, deal structuring, and manage external relationships
  • Track permitting timelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop project pursuit strategies and align resources
  • Represent RES at conferences, industry forums, and partner events
  • Present financial summaries and project proposals to clients
  • Travel regionally to visit project sites, meet with regulators and clients, and attend industry events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related industry, dealing with complex solutions with a multi-year sales cycle and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience assessing and managing project timelines, identifying risks, and aligning teams to meet deliverables
  • Experience interpreting financial models and communicating the financial health of deals
  • Experience with contracts and key provisions, with legal awareness in deal structuring
  • Ability to build lasting relationships and solve complex client challenges
  • Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bring in internal experts when needed
  • Ability to read the room, adapt approach, and demonstrate resilience and urgency
