Job Description
The QA Analyst will work within a cross-functional team to validate and improve the quality, safety, and effectiveness of AI-driven healthcare sessions, ensuring a seamless experience for users and supporting the product as a Software as a Medical Device.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate the quality and safety of AI-driven therapy sessions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user experience
- Contribute to a shift-left quality mindset by improving processes and prevention strategies
- Define and assess what constitutes a high-quality AI care experience
- Ensure the AI therapy sessions work effectively for real users in real recovery journeys
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or related roles within software development or healthcare technology.
- Experience working within a cross-functional team and collaborating across departments to ensure product quality.
- Ability to understand and evaluate AI, clinical logic, and user interaction components of a healthcare product.
- Knowledge of medical device software regulations and standards, specifically related to Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
- Strong analytical thinking and creativity skills to assess not just functionality but also real-world effectiveness for users in recovery journeys.
- Ability to contribute to a shift-left quality mindset, focusing on prevention over detection, and improving processes.
- Experience in generating and analyzing evidence to support healthcare products, particularly in regulated environments.
- Proficiency in understanding and validating AI-driven healthcare applications, including safety and clinical reasoning aspects.
- Legal eligibility to work in Portugal, including possessing a valid EU visa, as this position does not offer relocation assistance.
- Based in Portugal, with the ability to work remotely and flexible working hours.
