Job Description
The Strategic Finance Manager at Raptor Maps partners directly with the CFO to lead strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and special projects, focusing on high-impact, nonrecurring work while supporting financial activities to drive company growth and industry transformation in the solar energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CFO on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and special projects.
- Query data, build financial models, and prepare materials for the board.
- Drive cross-functional projects from start to finish.
- Focus on high-leverage, nonrecurring financial work approximately 75% of the time.
- Manage recurring financial activities approximately 25% of the time.
- Support company growth and industry transformation through financial analysis and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Partner directly with the CFO on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and special projects related to finance.
- Spend approximately 75% of your time on high-leverage, nonrecurring work, and 25% on recurring financial activities.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and execution-oriented in your approach to work.
- Be comfortable querying data, building financial models, and preparing board materials.
- Drive cross-functional projects from start to finish.
- Thrive in ambiguity and balance detail with big-picture thinking.
- Communicate with clarity and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Possess a strong desire to develop into a future CFO, VP Finance, or other strategic leadership role.
- Have the ability to gain unmatched exposure to executive decision-making and cross-functional leaders while driving initiatives that impact company growth and industry transformation.
