The Systems Engineer will lead the development and automation of a scalable, resilient manufacturing validation platform, focusing on fault injection, continuous integration, and ensuring system reliability for next-generation hardware-software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and own the high-scale validation platform for automated, scalable testing.
Design and implement fault injection and resilience testing frameworks to simulate failure conditions.
Establish data-driven quality gates and integrate telemetry into automated pipelines for system insights.
Modernize existing test frameworks into a unified automation strategy and mentor teams on validation best practices.
Requirements
Expert-level design and implementation skills in building and scaling automated CI CD pipelines for complex hardware-software validation environments, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Deep technical expertise in fault injection design and resilience testing principles for complex, distributed systems, including embedded platforms, storage, or high-availability services.
Advanced proficiency in Python for developing reusable test automation libraries and modular, configuration-driven frameworks that support continuous validation workflows.
Hands-on experience integrating and utilizing telemetry, logging, and observability frameworks to derive data-driven insights from test pipelines and define robust quality gates.
Ability to architect and own a high-scale validation platform that enables asynchronous, modular, and CI CD-integrated testing across global manufacturing and engineering operations.
Experience designing and implementing advanced fault injection and resilience testing frameworks to proactively simulate complex failure conditions across the entire hardware-software stack, ensuring system reliability.
Experience establishing and governing data-driven quality through the definition of test criteria, quality gates, and the integration of observability and telemetry into automated pipelines for actionable system performance insights.
Ability to modernize existing test frameworks into a unified, scalable automation strategy, and mentor cross-functional teams including DevOps and QA on continuous validation best practices and reusable software components.
