The Corporate Account Executive at Pure Storage is responsible for selling data storage solutions to mid-market accounts in the southeastern region, primarily through remote and in-office sales efforts, with a focus on prospecting, closing deals, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sell directly to mid-market accounts in the Southeastern region via an inside sales environment
Develop account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to close deals
Build and maintain channel relationships to support sales opportunities
Prospect into new accounts, engage decision-makers, and close sales
Develop and present proposals demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions meet customer needs
Manage sales pipeline, focus on conversion success, and deliver accurate sales forecasts
Requirements
A complete track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business in a B2B technology sales environment.
Experience working in or understanding sales channel selling models.
Demonstrated achievement in winning net new logos and building a book of business.
Experience in prospecting into and penetrating new accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
Ability to develop and present proposals to prospective customers demonstrating the ability of the Pure Storage solution to meet business objectives and justify the sale.
Experience managing a sales pipeline with a focus on conversion success and delivering an accurate forecast.
Completion of business value selling (BVS) training or other relevant B2B sales training systems.
Ability and willingness to work primarily from the Chicago office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
The role requires the ability to work remotely into a territory in Pure’s Southeastern region, focusing on mid-market accounts in the Carolinas.
