Job Description

The Corporate Account Executive at Pure Storage is responsible for selling data storage solutions to mid-market accounts in the southeastern region, primarily through remote and in-office sales efforts, with a focus on prospecting, closing deals, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell directly to mid-market accounts in the Southeastern region via an inside sales environment
  • Develop account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to close deals
  • Build and maintain channel relationships to support sales opportunities
  • Prospect into new accounts, engage decision-makers, and close sales
  • Develop and present proposals demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions meet customer needs
  • Manage sales pipeline, focus on conversion success, and deliver accurate sales forecasts

Requirements

  • A complete track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business in a B2B technology sales environment.
  • Experience working in or understanding sales channel selling models.
  • Demonstrated achievement in winning net new logos and building a book of business.
  • Experience in prospecting into and penetrating new accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
  • Ability to develop and present proposals to prospective customers demonstrating the ability of the Pure Storage solution to meet business objectives and justify the sale.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline with a focus on conversion success and delivering an accurate forecast.
  • Completion of business value selling (BVS) training or other relevant B2B sales training systems.
  • Ability and willingness to work primarily from the Chicago office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
  • The role requires the ability to work remotely into a territory in Pure’s Southeastern region, focusing on mid-market accounts in the Carolinas.

Salary range: $63,000 - $94,500 USD annually
Work environment: primarily in-office at Chicago location
