Job Description

The role involves remotely selling data storage solutions to mid-market accounts in the Northeast region, focusing on prospecting, closing deals, and building customer relationships within a B2B technology sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell products remotely to achieve sales targets and quotas in the Northeast region.
  • Develop and execute account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners.
  • Build channel relationships to facilitate sales opportunities and close deals.
  • Prospect into new accounts, engage decision-makers, and secure business.
  • Develop and present proposals demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions meet customer objectives.
  • Manage sales pipeline, focus on conversion success, and provide accurate sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • A consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business in a B2B technology sales environment.
  • Experience working in or understanding sales channel selling models.
  • Demonstrated achievement in winning net new logos by working the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Recognition for building business relationships, solving complex problems for customers, and building a book of business.
  • Completion of business value selling (BVS) training or other relevant B2B sales training systems.
  • Ability and desire to prospect into and penetrate new accounts, reaching decision-makers and closing business.
  • Ability to develop and present proposals that demonstrate the ability of the Pure Storage solution to meet customers' business objectives and justify the sale.
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline with a focus on conversion success and delivering an accurate forecast.
  • Work from the Chicago office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

Benefits & Perks

Salary range: $63,000 - $94,500 USD
Work environment: primarily in-office at Chicago location
Work schedule: flexible time off, with options for PTO, work travel, and approved leave
