Job Description

This role involves managing the full sales cycle for data storage solutions in the Swiss market, including prospecting, engaging customers, negotiating, and closing deals, while collaborating with partners and ensuring sales targets are met in a high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle for assigned territory, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales quotas and KPIs by managing the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct discovery calls and virtual demonstrations to present product value and tailor proposals to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and field sales to develop account strategies and facilitate opportunity handoffs.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and customer interaction records within CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in Swiss German, French, and English is essential.
  • A demonstrated track record of independently managing a full sales cycle in a high-velocity environment and consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas.
  • Ability to rapidly learn complex technology concepts such as cloud computing, data center architecture, and flash storage, and translate technical features into clear, compelling business value propositions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage a high volume of activities including calls, emails, and virtual meetings, and maintain an accurate, robust sales pipeline.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end sales processes, including outbound prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing mid-size deals within an assigned territory.
  • Ability to consistently achieve and surpass quarterly revenue quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs) by effectively managing the sales pipeline in the CRM system.
  • Meticulous data entry and management within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), including tracking all sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasting future opportunities.
  • Willingness to work from the Zurich, Switzerland office in accordance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
