Job Description

The role involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of complex software release cycles for storage solutions, acting as a strategic program manager to ensure high-quality, timely delivery while aligning cross-functional teams and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of complex software release cycles
  • Act as a technical change agent by identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve blockers and align on release priorities
  • Establish and monitor program KPIs, providing transparent updates to stakeholders
  • Refine release tools and methodologies to enhance team responsiveness and program success

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale software release cycles within a complex SDLC, with a proven ability to manage projects from initial investigation through to global market delivery.
  • Advanced analytical skills used to triage technical risks, navigate cross-functional dependencies, and make high-stakes tradeoffs that balance speed with system stability.
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, capable of driving accountability across diverse teams and influencing technical direction without direct authority.
  • A relentless focus on the product experience, utilizing data-driven insights to maintain high standards for quality and operational excellence.
  • Ability to develop and own end-to-end release strategies, including planning, coordination, and execution of complex software release cycles, with robust schedules and risk-mitigation frameworks.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process optimizations that drive organizational consistency and efficiency, enabling engineering teams to innovate faster while maintaining rigorous architectural standards.
  • Proven ability to serve as a single point of contact for program delivery, orchestrating collaboration between engineering, product management, and field teams to resolve blockers and align on critical release tradeoffs.
  • Experience establishing clear program KPIs and communication channels to provide executive stakeholders with transparent updates on progress, resource allocation, and mitigation strategies for technical risks.
  • Experience continuously refining release tools and methodologies to improve team responsiveness to feedback and ensure program success in the field and customer base.
  • Ability to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office, in compliance with company policies.
