Job Description
This role involves developing and executing technical content and digital strategies to promote enterprise storage and virtualization solutions, translating complex technical features into compelling narratives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable sales and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technical content strategies for database and virtualization solutions.
- Create and manage technical marketing Bill of Materials (BOM) for product enablement and demos.
- Drive digital strategies for technical showcases and customer engagement experiences.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Solution Management, and Field Sales to translate features into customer value propositions.
- Create technical content highlighting new features, integrations, and high-level architecture insights.
Requirements
- Deep Technical Acumen in enterprise storage Block File, NAS SAN protocols coupled with experience in virtualized environments and core database technologies e.g., Oracle, SAP.
- Exceptional Storytelling and Content Creation Skills with a proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into simple, differentiated narratives for a technical audience through various channels including written, video, and presentation formats.
- Demonstrated Success in technical product positioning, driving content strategy (e.g., blog posts, webcasts), and managing a Bill of Materials (BOM) for product launches within a cloud or storage platform.
- Strong Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align outcomes across engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
- Ability to develop and execute a high-impact technical content strategy, including blog posts, digital experiences, and webcasts, specifically for core database and virtualization solutions.
- Experience in owning the creation, orchestration, and management of the technical marketing Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring Field Sales and Partners have necessary enablement and demo assets.
- Experience in driving digital strategy and execution for technical showcases such as Pure360 demonstrations and TestDrive experiences on purestorage.com.
- Ability to serve as a liaison between Product Marketing, Solution Management, and the Field, translating new feature functionality into clear customer value propositions and technical selling points.
- Ability to create timely, relevant content that highlights new features and integrations, and provide constructive feedback on high-level technical architecture.
- Work in an in-office environment, with the ability to work from the office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in enterprise storage, virtualization, or related technical fields.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in a technical field related to storage, databases, or virtualization technologies.

Salary range: 118,000 - 178,000 USD
