Job Description
A Technical Instructor responsible for delivering and developing technical training programs in storage and networking technologies, aimed at employees, partners, and customers, to enhance their skills and knowledge in a fast-evolving tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training to employees, partners, and customers on storage and networking technologies
- Develop, update, and collaborate on technical courseware and learning content
- Facilitate in-person and virtual instructor-led training sessions
- Stay current with product enhancements, industry developments, and go-to-market strategies
- Partner with stakeholders to align learning solutions with development needs
- Analyze feedback and monitor the effectiveness of training programs for continuous improvement
Requirements
- BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years experience of technical training and or content development experience in storage and or networking topics
- Ability to successfully train non-English speaking participants with the help of a translator as needed
- Proficiency with Linux OS and CLI
- Knowledge of hardware and hardware configuration
- Technical understanding of foundational technologies like fibre channel, iSCSI, networking etc.
- Experience or working knowledge of technologies such as operating systems Solaris, Linux, Windows, VMware, LANs, WANs, and storage area networks
- Expert presentation and facilitation skills including white-boarding and utilizing various facilitation techniques to engage learners
- Experience with delivering webinars and virtual instructor-led trainings
- Content development skills
- Experience architecting lab scenarios
- Ability to work independently, but also able to collaborate with others with a positive attitude
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, business partners, and key stakeholders on learning initiatives and recommendations
- Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies
