Job Description
The role involves developing and executing technical marketing strategies for FlashBlade solutions, creating engaging content to showcase product features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and adoption among technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the creation and execution of technical marketing content, including blogs, presentations, videos, demos, and webcasts to engage technical buyers.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to develop compelling stories that showcase product features and differentiators.
- Manage the technical marketing bill of materials, coordinating across teams to develop sales enablement resources and digital experiences.
- Own the technical marketing execution for FlashBlade solutions, including developing marketing moments and supporting product launches.
- Develop and implement the blog strategy highlighting core features and product announcements for FlashBlade.
- Create technical content that highlights new features, integrations, and high-level architecture of FlashBlade products.
- Facilitate communication and feedback on technical collateral, ensuring alignment with target audiences such as DevOps, cloud architects, and storage admins.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience in a product marketing, solution marketing, or technical marketing role
- Knowledge of NAS storage arrays for File and Object protocols
- Demonstrated success in positioning and launching differentiated products
- Recognized as a professional communicator, speaker, and enjoy writing
- Strong aptitude for translating technical differentiators into simple stories
- Strong technical product marketing or product management experience within cloud or storage platform
- Knowledge of key target audiences including DevOps, cloud architects, Storage Admins, IT infrastructure managers, Director of IT, and VP of IT
- Experience owning and executing technical marketing strategies, including development of sales presentations, social media content, demo videos, enablement resources, and technical articles
- Ability to develop and manage a technical marketing bill of materials (BOM) strategy, including cross-team orchestration
- Understanding of high-level technical architecture and ability to facilitate communication, feedback, and drive decisions on collateral
- Ability to create content that highlights new features and integrations for FlashBlade
- Experience working directly with Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and Field Sales Engineering to bring marketing moments to fruition
- Ability to develop and execute digital strategy for demos and experiences such as TestDrive
- Strong communication skills, including writing and speaking
- Ability to work in an in-office environment in compliance with company policies
