Job Description
This role involves leading supply planning and optimization for returned assets in a circular economy strategy, focusing on remanufacturing, asset recovery, and scalable reverse logistics processes to maximize asset value, revenue, and margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end supply planning for returned assets, forecasting inbound flow and allocating assets to maximize revenue and margin.
- Drive decision-making and influence stakeholders to ensure asset allocations are honored and delivered on-time and in-full.
- Monitor inventory health across recovered asset pools and develop strategies to utilize excess components and materials.
- Build foundational reporting, planning tools, and automated processes for the reverse remanufacturing supply chain to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Advanced Supply Chain Planning Expertise with deep, verifiable experience in complex supply planning, reverse logistics, or manufacturing planning, including creating and managing critical supply demand commitments in a high-stakes environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain sophisticated analytical reporting and planning models using advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and expert-level proficiency with major ERP Planning systems such as NetSuite and SAP.
- Core understanding of contract manufacturing, inventory optimization principles, and the business drivers behind asset recovery, remanufacturing, or IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) processes.
- High-ownership, results-driven mindset with exceptional communication and influencing skills necessary to shape trade-off decisions and drive outcomes across global Sales, Service, and Operations teams.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, possessing an entrepreneurial drive to design, automate, and implement scalable, best-in-class processes rather than simply managing existing processes.
- Ability to own the entire supply plan for returned assets, including forecasting inbound flow from customer upgrades and allocating them to remanufacturing, service, or subscription models to maximize revenue and margin.
- Experience in proactively monitoring inventory health across recovered asset pools and developing strategies with contract manufacturers to utilize excess components and materials, reducing waste and improving margins.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and ensure critical supply commitments are honored and delivered on-time and in-full, impacting business promises and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness and ability to work from the Santa Clara office in an in-office environment in compliance with company policies.
