Job Description
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for developing and executing global supply plans for flash memory products, managing inventory, mitigating risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the global supply plan for flash memory modules and components, translating demand forecasts into actionable build plans.
- Proactively resolve supply gaps to meet delivery, inventory, and cost targets.
- Strategically manage global inventory levels, directing ordering and fulfillment to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
- Lead allocation processes during supply disruptions to balance capacity and serve key business units.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on supply plans, provide feedback on supply risks and opportunities, and ensure smooth product lifecycle transitions.
- Create and deliver reports on supply position, risks, and performance trends, and develop planning tools and dashboards to improve forecast accuracy and inventory management.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage complex supply plans within the electronics or semiconductor industry, including a deep understanding of inventory management strategies, forecasting methodologies, and component lifecycle management, with a preference for experience in NAND DRAM.
- Proven experience directing and collaborating with global Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers to align production with demand, manage fulfillment, and ensure performance targets are met.
- Proficiency in leveraging data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and make strategic planning decisions, with highly skilled use of enterprise planning software such as SAP, Oracle, or Kinaxis, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong ability to collaborate with and influence diverse teams including engineering, commodity management, and operations in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to clearly communicate complex information and drive consensus to resolve issues.
- Experience in developing and managing the master supply plan for all flash memory modules and components including NAND and DRAM, translating demand forecasts into actionable build plans, ensuring alignment with production schedules from pilot to end-of-life, and proactively resolving supply gaps to achieve delivery, inventory, and cost targets.
- Ability to strategically manage global inventory levels, directing the ordering and fulfillment of components to prevent shortages and minimize excess obsolete inventory, and leading critical allocation processes during supply disruptions.
- Experience in leading EOL (End-of-Life) planning with demand planning teams to ensure smooth transitions.
- Ability to create and deliver key reports on supply position, risks, and performance trends for leadership, and to help develop and automate planning tools and dashboards to improve forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turnover.
- Physical presence and work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
