Job Description
The role involves architecting and driving the technical vision for next-generation Converged Architecture Platforms, integrating Pure Storage solutions with Cisco data center ecosystems, and creating technical content to promote solution adoption globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and drive the technical vision for next-generation Converged Architecture Platforms, integrating Pure Storage with Cisco data center ecosystem
- Design, document, and validate full-stack FlashStack solutions, including integration with hypervisor platforms like VMWare, Nutanix, and OpenShift
- Create and publish technical collateral such as Cisco Validated Designs, white papers, and reference architectures
- Lead solution evangelism through presentations and public speaking to promote FlashStack and CI solutions
- Collaborate with product management, alliance partners, and field sales to develop reference architectures and enablement materials
Requirements
- Deep Converged Infrastructure Expertise with thorough, in-depth technical knowledge of the Cisco Data Center portfolio Nexus, MDS, UCS, and major Converged Infrastructure platforms, including FlashStack, and expertise with Cisco management tools like Intersight, DCNM, and UCS Director, as well as a working knowledge of boot from SAN and Direct Attach technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one major hypervisor platform such as VMWare, Nutanix, Hyper-V, or OpenShift, and sound infrastructure knowledge of Linux distributions, storage, compute, and networking within a modern data center environment.
- Proven ability to apply and implement automation technologies with hands-on experience in scripting environments such as Ansible, Terraform, and Python to streamline proof-of-concepts, validation, and solution deployment.
- Exceptional ability to outline, create, and publish complex technical documents like Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs), white papers, and reference architectures on schedule, coupled with strong verbal and public speaking skills to effectively convey technical strategies and customer benefits to diverse global audiences.
- Ability to own the Solutions Roadmap, influence and drive the execution of the Converged Infrastructure solutions roadmap focusing on FlashStack and integrating key hypervisor platforms to meet evolving customer demands and market strategies.
- Experience in architecting and validating solutions by designing, building, and demonstrating complex, full-stack solutions within a lab environment, integrating Pure Storage with Cisco compute, networking, and third-party technologies to ensure seamless functionality and best practices.
- Ability to create high-impact technical content, including Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs), white papers, and reference architectures, that clearly translate technical features into tangible business value for customers and partners globally.
- Experience in leading solution evangelism by representing Pure Storage as a subject matter expert, leading presentations and public speaking engagements to promote FlashStack and CI solutions to customers, partners, and prospects, impacting solution adoption and sales enablement.
- Willingness to work primarily from the Bangalore office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies.
