The Lead Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for driving data-driven business transformation by translating customer objectives into value assessments, building business cases, and facilitating process improvements to deliver measurable value and foster long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks
Conduct value workshops and communicate strategic value to senior stakeholders
Drive measurable business impact and accelerate platform adoption
Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, and renewing
Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a transformation platform
Provide feedback to product teams for platform and app enhancements
Requirements
6-10 years of experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role such as Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP and Oracle, with experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools and/or building Dashboards, Apps and Action Flows.
Hands-on experience with Process Mining tools and technologies is preferred.
Hands-on SQL experience and Python is preferred.
Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
Experience in identifying business use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users and process owners to realize value.
Domain and industry knowledge such as Supply Chain, Finance, CPG, BFSI, Manufacturing, etc., would be a plus.
Project management experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple projects at different stages of the value journey, leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem where possible.
Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Experience working in the India market and with GCCs would be a big plus.
