Job Description
The role involves leading the development and execution of a strategic product vision for enterprise file storage solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving business growth through innovative technology and customer-focused strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and articulate a clear product vision and strategy based on customer needs, market trends, and technology analysis.
- Drive the execution of the product strategy to build a high-growth business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to define go-to-market plans and use-case-centric solutions.
- Work closely with engineering to prioritize product enhancements and shape the product roadmap.
- Gather customer feedback and conduct market analysis to inform product decisions and trade-offs.
- Act as a strategic advisor and spokesperson for the product and company, delivering technical and business presentations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of Product Management experience with a proven track record of bringing products to market and growing the business.
- Strong knowledge of file storage, NFS SMB protocols, and associated use cases.
- Solid understanding of NAS vendors and the ecosystem.
- Deep, technical understanding of enterprise storage environments, deployments, and use cases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate as a change agent in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to create programs, services, and ecosystem partnerships that provide end-to-end solutions for customers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required; a business degree is desirable.
- Ability to create and articulate a clear product vision and a sustainable strategy based on customer needs, competitive analysis, and technology trends.
- Ability to assess the competitive and market landscape from both a technical and business perspective to predict trends.
- Experience working closely with engineering to prioritize enhancements and shape a product roadmap that drives success in targeted use cases.
- Experience gathering customer feedback, conducting market analysis, and evaluating product use to inform roadmap decisions and trade-offs.
- Ability to serve as a strategic advisor on technical and business-related matters for the executive team.
- Ability to deliver compelling business and technical presentations to internal and external audiences, including customers and partners.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Santa Clara, CA office in accordance with company policies.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range: 199,000 - 299,000 USD annually
