Job Description
The role involves leading the strategy, development, and management of Pure Storage's cyber resilience products, focusing on protecting customer data against cyber threats across various environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive market leadership and innovation in data security and recovery solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy, roadmap, and feature requirements for cyber resilience products.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and manage cyber resilience solutions and features.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and other teams to ensure secure recovery, incident response, and resilience outcomes.
- Develop and deliver market-facing materials, training, and tools to promote product adoption and market positioning.
- Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather insights, promote solutions, and establish strategic alliances.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to resilience metrics, security certifications, and product performance for continuous improvement.
- Work with executive leadership to define business scope, goals, and resource allocation for product initiatives.
Requirements
- 10 years of progressive product management and product development experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity, cyber resilience, or data protection.
- Proven strategic leadership experience owning long-term vision, roadmap, and business outcomes for products in dynamic, competitive markets.
- Deep technical expertise in enterprise storage, cloud architectures, and replication technologies such as snapshots, recovery time objectives (RTO), and recovery point objectives (RPO).
- Strong technical acumen in the Cyber Resilience space with deep interest and vision for the industry, including knowledge of the landscape and Pure s solutions.
- Understanding and application of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Digital Operations Resilience Act (DORA).
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) requirements across multiple verticals.
- Expertise with common data protection products such as Commvault, Veeam, DELL EMC, Rubrik, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
- Ability to translate complex cyber and data protection challenges into market-ready solutions and strategic value for customers.
- Strong executive presence and outstanding verbal and written communication skills, confidently engaging C-level, technical, sales, and partner audiences.
- Excellent critical problem-solving skills adept at navigating technical, business, and regulatory issues, including certifications and vulnerability management.
- History of driving product life cycles through ideation, requirement setting, launch, adoption, and end-of-life.
- Experience managing shifting priorities and delivering results in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- History of effective team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure s policies (in-office environment).
