The role involves serving as the strategic financial partner for the Marketing organization, leading financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to optimize global investments and support business growth in a fast-paced, innovative tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and manage monthly financial close cycles.
Partner with senior Marketing leaders to optimize global investments and advise on high-stakes trade-offs.
Establish and oversee processes for financial governance, including accruals and budget management.
Implement process improvements using data visualization tools to translate spend patterns into actionable insights.
Requirements
Extensive experience leading complex financial planning and analysis (FP&A) cycles, preferably supporting Marketing, Sales, or similar Go-to-Market functions, with a focus on outcome-based budgeting and investment prioritization.
Proficiency in financial modeling and experience with data systems such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or equivalent tools to evaluate program performance and automate reporting workflows.
Strong communication skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating financial data into strategic recommendations.
Experience designing and managing processes for financial governance, including accruals and budget management, ensuring alignment between marketing strategy, departmental spend, and corporate accountability.
Proactive mindset for operational ownership, managing financial governance and cross-functional processes independently in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Ability to architect the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly close cycles, delivering executive-ready narratives that guide global investment decisions and ensure financial predictability.
Experience advising executive leadership using sophisticated scenario modeling to influence high-stakes trade-offs and maximize program ROI.
