Job Description
A Solutions Architect role focused on designing, developing, and implementing innovative enterprise storage and infrastructure solutions, collaborating across teams to drive market growth and customer success in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and validate enterprise solutions throughout their lifecycle, including design, integration, and documentation.
- Create technical documentation such as reference architectures, best practices, white papers, and solution briefs.
- Demonstrate and showcase solutions with third-party technologies in lab environments for customer and partner enablement.
- Present technical solutions to internal teams, customers, and partners, translating technical details into business value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, marketing, and professional services to align solutions with market and product strategies.
- Develop and refine technical messaging, presentations, and content highlighting solution value and differentiation.
- Work with field teams to understand customer challenges and deliver scalable, impactful solutions.
- Provide escalation support for pre-sales and post-sales activities related to solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering designing, deploying, and managing large scale, enterprise infrastructure and enterprise technology solutions stacks from business applications, hypervisor platforms, operating systems, compute, networking storage, and cloud environments.
- Strong solution engineering and architecture experience, building and validating comprehensive solutions that address technical and business needs.
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Strong command of storage technologies and network interconnects, including block, file, and object protocols (e.g., FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, S3) and their applications in performance and scale environments.
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures spanning on-premises platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and public clouds including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ability to communicate technical value through technical marketing, including creation of content, presentations, and messaging for target audiences such as IT buyers, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of systems performance, scalability, and integration best practices.
- Awareness of emerging trends in infrastructure modernization, cloud-native architectures, and automation.
- Understanding of large-scale enterprise infrastructure design, optimization, and protection.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance diagnostic skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or solution architecture roles.
- Proven ability to execute strategies and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and impactful results.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and executive audiences.
- Demonstrated adaptability and curiosity to learn new technologies.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
