The Senior Solutions Engineer role involves designing, validating, and deploying cyber-resilience solutions for data protection in hybrid-cloud environments, collaborating across teams to develop integrated infrastructures, and producing technical content to support global customer and partner success.
Key Responsibilities
Validate cyber-resilience frameworks through comprehensive testing of integrations with partners like Veeam, Commvault, and Rubrik
Build and maintain automated hybrid-cloud lab environments across on-premise and public cloud platforms to simulate recovery scenarios
Create technical collateral such as reference architectures, white papers, and blogs to communicate complex solutions and data workflows
Collaborate with product management and marketing to define and align the cyber-solutions roadmap with go-to-market strategies
Diagnose and optimize I/O pathways across storage protocols to enhance performance within data protection workflows
Requirements
Mastery in deploying and managing enterprise-grade data protection platforms such as Veeam, Commvault, or Rubrik, including a thorough understanding of snapshot, replication, and air-gapped recovery technologies.
Holistic command of the modern data center environment, including expert-level knowledge of Linux, virtualization technologies such as VMware and Nutanix, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift within hybrid cloud environments.
Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform to automate complex environments and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Proven ability to distill deep technical validation results into professional documentation and executive-level presentations that influence engineers and decision-makers.
Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test methodologies to validate integration with partners like Veeam, Commvault, and Rubrik, ensuring solutions meet high standards of performance and reliability.
Experience in building and maintaining sophisticated, automated lab environments spanning on-premise and public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to simulate recovery scenarios and proof of concept demonstrations.
Ability to collaborate across Product Management and Engineering teams to transform complex hybrid-cloud challenges into validated, market-ready solutions.
Ability to author high-visibility technical collateral, including Reference Architectures, white papers, and deep-dive blogs that translate complex I/O protocols and data workflows into actionable business value.
Experience in partnering with Product Management and Marketing to define cyber-solutions roadmaps and ensure alignment with go-to-market strategies and customer security needs.
Willingness to work primarily from the OFFICE_LOCATION office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
