Job Description
A ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated enterprise applications within the ServiceNow platform, including system integrations, troubleshooting, and collaboration with stakeholders to improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain automated solutions within the ServiceNow platform using native capabilities.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs to ensure data integrity and process automation.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents and defects related to ServiceNow applications.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and senior team members to finalize solution designs and document development work.
Requirements
- Proven, hands-on ability to effectively utilize key ServiceNow platform elements, including Access Control Lists (ACLs), Script Includes, Transform Maps, and Update Sets, to meet specified requirements.
- Functional knowledge and demonstrable experience with hands-on configuration and development within core ServiceNow applications such as IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), or Employee Service Management (ESM).
- Experience developing and maintaining reliable connections between ServiceNow and external platforms using modern integration protocols like REST and SOAP APIs.
- Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents and defects related to ServiceNow applications, applying solid development best practices and effective debugging techniques.
- Ability to build, configure, and maintain functional and complete automated solutions using native ServiceNow capabilities, including Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Workflows.
