Job Description

The role involves leveraging technical expertise to support sales and adoption of storage solutions within the Commercial Public Sector, working closely with customers and internal teams to develop innovative, measurable solutions and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage technical expertise to promote adoption of EverPURE solutions with prospects and existing customers in the Commercial Public Sector.
Collaborate with customers to understand their business goals and pain points, proposing creative technology solutions.
Work closely with sales teams, partners, and marketing to develop strategies that drive revenue growth and new business.
Demonstrate technical leadership by explaining storage products, architectures, and competitive offerings to customers.
Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations to support sales and technical validation.
Create and deliver technical presentations and responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to secure technical wins.
Translate customer business needs into innovative storage and system solutions to support growth.
Identify and pursue new opportunities for interoperability, testing, and validation of solutions.
Stay current with market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to promote thought leadership.

Requirements

Enterprise Pre-sales experience covering Commercial Public Sector customers in Singapore is required.
A minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client-server and web-based computing solutions.
Prior experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN, Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
Experience with installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystem, storage subsystems architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes (k8s), and microservices architectures is a plus.
Strong knowledge of digital transformation to a Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, AWS well-architected framework, microservices architecture is a plus.
Curiosity and passion for technology and explaining and demonstrating new technology platforms and concepts to customers.
Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and their requirements such as structured databases (SQL, Oracle) is highly desirable.
Ability to work primarily in an office environment in Singapore, in compliance with company policies.
Excellent understanding of storage architectures and storage solutions including distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in DAS, NAS, and SAN spaces.
