Job Description

The role involves leading strategic enterprise sales and account management efforts within the mining industry, focusing on data management and storage solutions, building long-term customer relationships, and driving growth through technical expertise and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute multi-year account plans aligned with customer business objectives and digital transformation roadmaps.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities within mining accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Manage opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and sales activities across assigned territory.
Build industry expertise on mining challenges, trends, and technology impacts, including data management and cyber-security.
Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and operational stakeholders in mining organizations.
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, proposals, and business cases demonstrating value and ROI.
Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and deal closures in line with company frameworks.

Requirements

Five (5) years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or business development, ideally within infrastructure, data platforms, or enterprise technology.
Proven experience selling to the Mining and/or Energy industry, with a strong understanding of large enterprise customers.
Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and large strategic accounts.
Strong balance of technical depth and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate technology into business outcomes.
Excellent understanding of enterprise IT procurement processes and vendor management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence, and lead across internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative, high-performance team.
