Job Description
The role involves designing, proposing, and supporting the implementation of advanced IT infrastructure solutions for customers, focusing on cloud migration, data platforms, and enterprise storage, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging in pre-sales and post-sales technical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deeply understand customer business requirements, technical needs, systems, environments, and service history to build and propose optimal IT infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate and sell advanced service solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Design scalable, resilient, AI cloud-ready enterprise data platform migration solutions aligned with customer goals.
- Develop detailed solution architectures, operational models, and comprehensive proposals to meet customer-specific requirements.
- Create testing frameworks, runbooks, and validation plans to ensure deployment feasibility and mitigate risks.
- Develop transformation roadmaps, migration strategies, and risk mitigation plans for customer solutions.
- Support the implementation of advanced service solutions through technical consultation and project execution assistance.
- Provide technical advice to sales teams on implementation and construction, ensuring successful deployment of storage, clustering, data migration, and automation solutions.
- Manage project risks, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery, including project management for smaller projects.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure operations or infrastructure environment automation efficiency operations.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with major cloud solutions such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with data center migration and platform integration.
- Understanding of Enterprise Storage protocols.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts, virtualization solutions, and operating systems including UNIX, Windows, and Linux.
- Experience with disaster recovery (DR), cybersecurity, and container technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, PowerShell, and Python, and experience with operational implementation using REST API.
- Experience with designing and implementing monitoring systems using monitoring tools.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and authentication management using Active Directory (AD).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to deliver information at the expected level of detail and in the correct sequence, and to understand the core intent of the audience.
- Active listening skills to appropriately grasp customer expectations and information, especially in non-technical business discussions with mid-to-senior level clients.
- Strong desire for learning new technologies and willingness to share knowledge with others.
- Creative problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to manage external and internal stakeholders and report on project progress.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, SNIA certification programs, and CompTIA Storage.
- Autonomous and proactive mindset with logical and rational thinking processes.
- Strong team player with a professional demeanor, capable of proactively offering opinions and clarifying ambiguities in meetings.
- Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
- Business-level proficiency in English, including reading and writing, with a strong desire to improve.
