Job Description
A Senior Quality Engineering Manager responsible for leading the end-to-end quality strategy, automation, and system validation for a groundbreaking hyperscale data storage product, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end quality strategy for the hyperscale product, including defining and enforcing system-level test plans.
- Drive automation initiatives across development pipelines and testing environments.
- Serve as the final quality gatekeeper, establishing release readiness criteria and quality metrics.
- Influence product design by providing quality insights to engineering and customers.
- Collaborate with support and escalation teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve field issues.
Requirements
- Experience leading quality engineering for systems products such as storage, networking, SSDs, or large-scale distributed software.
- Strong background in test automation frameworks and languages such as Python, Go, or Java, with experience embedding automation into developer workflows.
- Proven ability to define and lead full-stack test strategies, including validating products in hyperscale or cloud-scale environments.
- Experience collaborating with support, escalation, and customer-facing teams to resolve quality issues and incorporate field learnings into the product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product design and serve as a key quality voice for engineering and customers.
- Ability to own and lead the quality strategy from concept to release, including defining and enforcing rigorous system-level test plans.
- Ability to champion automation by driving its implementation at every layer, from developer CI pipelines to large-scale system test harnesses.
- Experience serving as the final quality gatekeeper for system readiness, establishing and driving organizations toward strict release criteria and quality metrics.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Santa Clara, CA office in accordance with company policies.
