Job Description
A Senior Product Marketing Manager responsible for developing messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for Pure Storage's FlashArray X and XL products, including content creation, product promotion, and cross-team collaboration to drive product success and market growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own core messaging and positioning for FlashArray X and FlashArray XL products.
- Drive product promotion and support execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
- Become the subject matter expert (SME) for the products and develop related content for launches and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to align product messaging and support sales enablement.
- Support product launches, marketing campaigns, and long-term product success through content creation and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of product positioning and messaging, with a passion for storytelling of technical products.
- Strong writing and content creation skills, including the ability to develop presentations, whitepapers, FAQs, and web copy.
- Deep experience in product marketing, with a history of successfully owning, launching, and marketing technology products, preferably to Enterprise IT customers.
- Deep understanding of Enterprise infrastructure products, with a bonus for additional experience in structured Block data storage.
- Strong technical depth and ability to learn quickly about complex technical products.
- Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal partners such as product management and sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 12 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or solutions marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and own core messaging and positioning for products within the broader product portfolio.
- Ability to become the subject matter expert (SME) for the products, developing and owning the core content required for launches and go-to-market efforts.
- Ability to support the development of additional content through sales, enablement, technical evangelism, corporate communications, and other teams.
- Ability to fully plan and support the execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies to ensure success in marketing and sales metrics.
- Ability to drive product promotion across marketing and sales channels.
- Ability to influence and build credibility with executive stakeholders and internal teams.
- Willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office, in compliance with company policies.
