Job Description
The role involves supporting and enabling strategic partners by providing technical guidance, training, and coaching to promote Pure Storage solutions, ultimately driving partner-led sales and expanding the company's presence in the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Pure Storage as a trusted technical advisor to partners
- Align Pure's go-to-market strategy with partner objectives and develop regional technical account plans
- Build and strengthen relationships with partner SE communities and key stakeholders
- Conduct joint sales calls, architectural discussions, and technical reviews with partner SEs
- Enable partner SEs through technical enablement, coaching, and training to promote Pure solutions
- Provide technical support for partner-led opportunities and facilitate transition to support teams
- Mentor new PTMs and partner SEs to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing
- Maintain knowledge of competitive technologies and Pure's differentiators in storage and data solutions
- Participate in partner and distributor business reviews to assess technical maturity and identify gaps
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align partner technical strategies and resource deployment
Requirements
- 5-8 years minimum experience enabling SI partners SE organizations to promote enterprise storage, networking or systems solutions to large enterprise accounts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience
- Proven cross functional experience and excellent communications skills to drive consensus across groups both internally and within the channel partner organizations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate Pure s value and technical leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, to prioritize effectively, to think big picture, and to use good judgment in resolving difficult issues
- Thorough understanding of the architecture, design and implementations of multi-tiered client server computing solutions
- Ability to present in front of large audiences
- Client-facing experience in proposing AI/ML solutions is a plus
- Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, NoSQL alternatives is a plus
- On-site work is required
- Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN
