Job Description
The Senior Internal Auditor at EverPure (formerly Pure Storage) is responsible for leading internal audit activities, ensuring SOX compliance, advising on risk and controls, and modernizing audit techniques through data analytics and AI technologies to support the company's growth and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in planning, executing, and reporting on the Sarbanes-Oxley SOX compliance program to ensure effective control design.
- Collaborate with global teams to update process narratives and provide guidance on SOX readiness for new applications and processes.
- Integrate data analytics and new technologies into audit techniques to improve assessment efficiency and insights.
- Conduct operational and channel audits to identify control weaknesses and develop remediation plans with management.
- Liaise with external auditors and internal management to facilitate testing and ensure cooperation across functions.
- Provide risk and control guidance to leadership to support secure and stable growth.
- Handle special investigations and non-routine projects, delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Leverage AI technologies to enhance audit testing, data analysis, and overall audit efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in assurance or risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 2 years of experience in public accounting or a US SOX compliance environment.
- A full understanding of professional concepts including Accounting Standard 5, PCAOB, and SEC guidance, with the ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Proven ability to evaluate processes and controls within complex business applications, with familiarity with SAP and Salesforce being a significant advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills in English, with the ability to gain the cooperation of others and present technical information to diverse peer groups.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule to bridge time zone differences with US teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Possession of or progress toward relevant professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA.
