The Senior Accountant, Fixed Assets, is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of global physical and intangible assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and supporting automation and audit processes within a high-growth, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of global fixed assets, including purchase, classification, and disposal.
Lead the month-end close process for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
Automate reporting workflows using AI tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel techniques.
Prepare audit-ready documentation and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance.
Collaborate with project teams to identify assets for service and support ERP implementations.
Requirements
Own end-to-end fixed asset accounting from purchase order approval and accurate tax classification to final disposal, ensuring the Everpure Platform reflects a real-time, accurate picture of the company's global infrastructure.
Drive the month-end close process for 26 global entities, overseeing complex reconciliations, Construction-in-Progress (CIP) transitions, and multi-national accruals to ensure 100% alignment with US GAAP.
Leverage AI tools, Google Apps Script, and ERP functionality in SAP NetSuite to modernize reporting workflows, eliminate manual processes, and accelerate the time-to-close.
Prepare audit-ready documentation and internal controls, serving as a primary point of contact for SOX compliance and both domestic and international external audits.
Collaborate with global project teams to identify assets ready for service and provide the necessary financial insights to support large-scale ERP implementations and finance transformation initiatives.
Possess deep knowledge of US GAAP and fixed asset accounting principles, specifically in managing multi-entity and multi-currency environments within a SOX-compliant framework.
Demonstrate proven ability to lead a complex financial close process, including experience with use tax accruals, CIP management, and global asset classification.
Have advanced proficiency in SAP or NetSuite, combined with a tech-forward mindset that uses advanced Excel, Google Apps Script, or AI tools to streamline data-heavy workflows.
Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to navigate diverse geographies and cultures, influence cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements independently.
Work primarily in an in-office environment at the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
