The Cloud Native Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for guiding complex enterprise customers through cloud native data platform solutions, focusing on architecture, technical sales, and strategic adoption of Kubernetes-centric data management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full cloud native technical sales lifecycle for opportunities, including discovery, architectural alignment, demonstrations, POC/POV execution, and technical wrap-up.
Define success criteria, guide validation, and secure technical decisions to achieve technical wins.
Design Kubernetes-centric data platform solutions across multiple environments, business units, and regions in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
Engage senior engineering leaders and executives through briefings, workshops, and steering discussions to serve as a primary technical advisor.
Partner with account teams and co-sellers to ensure alignment between technical strategy and commercial goals.
Mentor peers, share best practices, and participate in thought leadership activities within customer forums and industry events.
Requirements
Senior-level experience in customer-facing technical roles within software or platform organizations, with strong exposure to cloud native and Kubernetes based architectures.
Ability to operate at high enterprise level and translate complex technical capabilities into clear business and financial value.
Strong architectural judgment and the ability to design solutions centered on Kubernetes-centric data platforms that span multiple environments, business units, and regions.
Excellent communication skills to engage senior engineering leaders and executives through briefings, architecture workshops, and steering discussions.
Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
Experience leading the full cloud native technical sales lifecycle, including discovery, architectural alignment, workshops, demonstrations, POC or POV execution, and technical wrap-up.
Ownership of defining success criteria, guiding validation, and securing technical decisions during technical sales processes.
Proven track record of achieving consistent technical wins within complex enterprise opportunities that convert into booked revenue and customer momentum.
Experience mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and participating in thought leadership through customer forums, community events, and industry engagements.
