The Cloud Native Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for guiding complex enterprise customers through the technical sales process of Kubernetes-centric data platforms, ensuring architectural alignment, technical wins, and long-term adoption of the company's cloud native data management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full cloud native technical sales lifecycle for opportunities, including discovery, architectural alignment, demonstrations, POC/POV execution, and technical wrap-up.
Define success criteria, guide validation, and secure technical decisions to achieve technical wins.
Design Kubernetes-centric data platform solutions in collaboration with customers and internal teams to align technical, operational, and business objectives.
Engage with senior engineering leaders and executives through briefings, workshops, and steering discussions to serve as a trusted technical advisor.
Partner with account teams and co-sellers to ensure alignment of technical strategy with commercial goals.
Mentor peers, share best practices, and participate in thought leadership activities within customer forums and industry events.
Requirements
Senior-level experience in customer-facing technical roles within software or platform organizations, with strong exposure to cloud native and Kubernetes based architectures.
Comfort operating at high enterprise level, including engaging with senior engineering leaders and executives.
Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business and financial value.
Strong architectural judgment related to Kubernetes-centric data platforms that span multiple environments, business units, and regions.
Excellent communication skills for engaging in briefings, architecture workshops, and steering discussions with senior stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
Experience leading the full cloud native technical sales lifecycle, including discovery, architectural alignment, workshops, demonstrations, POC or POV execution, and technical wrap-up.
Ownership of defining success criteria, guiding validation, and securing technical decisions during sales processes.
Proven track record of achieving consistent technical wins within complex enterprise opportunities that convert into booked revenue.
Experience in designing solutions in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical design, operational reality, and business objectives.
