Key Responsibilities
Define and evolve enterprise Salesforce architecture and strategic roadmap
Design comprehensive technical solutions for complex projects and programs
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Salesforce development teams
Develop Proofs of Concept to evaluate new Salesforce features and integrations
Collaborate with product owners and teams to assess technical requirements and estimates
Stay informed about Salesforce platform updates and industry best practices
Establish and enforce architectural governance, standards, and design principles
Identify and manage technical debt within the Salesforce ecosystem
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field from a top-tier university.
10 years of extensive experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a proven track record of full lifecycle Salesforce implementation, design, and architecture for enterprise-grade solutions.
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or actively on the CTA path, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce architecture.
Profound functional and technical understanding of multiple Salesforce Clouds, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, Communities, and Quote-to-Cash processes especially in SaaS and recurring revenue models.
Extensive experience designing and implementing complex integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using various integration patterns such as SOAP, REST API, Platform Events, and Middleware like Boomi.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including hands-on experience with custom development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and Aura components.
Expertise in designing for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability on the Salesforce platform, including knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices and event-driven architectures, as well as data migration strategies.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strong ability to mentor, guide, and influence technical teams and stakeholders.
Exceptional oral and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to work autonomously, make critical architectural decisions, and drive strategic initiatives with minimal supervision, demonstrating thought leadership and proactive problem-solving.
