This role involves leading sales enablement initiatives in Japan by localizing and delivering training programs, coaching sales teams, and ensuring adoption of sales tools and content to improve sales performance and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Localize and deliver sales enablement programs for Japan, ensuring content is relevant, in local language, and contextually appropriate.
Partner with Japan sales leaders to identify capability gaps and co-create enablement initiatives that improve sales performance metrics.
Design, facilitate, and reinforce Japan-specific workshops, clinics, and coaching sessions to enhance sales skills and field adoption.
Manage and maintain localized content and tools, ensuring accessibility, relevance, and currentness across sales platforms.
Measure and analyze the effectiveness of enablement activities, providing insights for continuous improvement and increased adoption.
Requirements
Highly credible in Japan field environment through strong enterprise sales management or sales leadership background with a clear understanding of the full sales representative lifecycle.
Native or near-native Japanese language proficiency and strong business English skills.
Capable of live facilitation, coaching, and leader influence, with strong execution skills beyond coordination or program management, and a roll-up-sleeves mindset.
Understanding of local selling rhythm and decision-making culture in Japan.
Strong business acumen with the ability to link enablement initiatives to pipeline, forecast, and revenue outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and make them actionable.
Highly collaborative, able to work across functions, regions, and time zones, and influence without direct authority.
Proactive, creative, and innovative problem solver with strong planning and prioritization skills.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
