Job Description

The role involves leading the sales strategy and team for the FSI vertical in the EMEA region, focusing on expanding market share, driving revenue growth, and fostering strategic partnerships within the financial services industry using innovative storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a scalable 3-year sales plan to achieve double-digit growth in the FSI vertical.
  • Lead, coach, and support the EMEA sales team to exceed revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Establish and implement a data-driven sales strategy aligned with company objectives and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for transformation, expansion, upselling, and strategic partnerships within the GSI ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, product, and monetisation teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide feedback from customers and partners to internal teams to enhance product development and marketing.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver insights and strategic recommendations to leadership for business decision-making.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the FSI vertical aligned with overall company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue targets and develop pipelines.
  • Promote and sell Pure Storage’s storage solutions emphasizing value propositions relevant to FSI clients.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Financial Services Industry (FSI), with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams across EMEA.

  • Strong strategic mindset, with a history of identifying new market opportunities and driving business expansion.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and corporate support functions to drive results in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, motivate teams, and drive strategic vision.
  • Relationship-driven with a strong executive presence and ability to establish credibility with key industry stakeholders and C-Suite executives.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, business development, and operational sales management within software, hardware, and professional services.

  • Proven ability to forecast sales accurately, provide pipeline updates, and conduct quarterly business reviews.
  • Stay informed on FSI industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape to position the company effectively.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
