Job Description
The role involves leading the sales strategy and team for the FSI vertical in the EMEA region, driving revenue growth through strategic planning, market expansion, and fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders in the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a scalable 3-year sales plan to achieve double-digit growth in the FSI vertical.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the EMEA sales team to exceed revenue targets and develop the sales pipeline.
- Establish and implement a data-driven sales strategy aligned with company objectives and market trends.
- Identify opportunities for market transformation, expansion, upselling, and strategic partnerships within the GSI ecosystem.
- Collaborate with marketing, technical, product, and monetisation teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
- Provide customer and partner feedback to internal teams to improve product development and marketing efforts.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver insights and strategic recommendations to leadership for business decision-making.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for the FSI vertical aligned with overall company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on FSI accounts.
- Promote and sell Pure Storage’s storage solutions emphasizing value propositions relevant to FSI clients.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and quarterly business reviews.
- Maintain industry expertise on FSI trends, regulations, and competitors to position the company effectively.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in FSI (Financial Services Industry), with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams across EMEA.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and grow business in diverse EMEA markets, leveraging deep knowledge of local cultures and economies.
- Strong strategic mindset, with a history of identifying new market opportunities and driving business expansion.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and corporate support functions to drive results in a matrixed environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, motivate teams, and drive strategic vision.
- Relationship-driven with a strong executive presence and ability to establish credibility with key industry stakeholders and C-Suite executives.
- Expertise in strategic planning, business development, and operational sales management within software, hardware, and professional services.
- Track record of coaching and developing teams, fostering innovation, and driving exceptional performance.
- Experience building and leveraging industry networks to drive business success.

- Staying informed on FSI industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape to position the company effectively.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
