Job Description

This role involves identifying and engaging new business opportunities within the German market, qualifying leads, and supporting sales efforts in the data storage and cloud computing industry through strategic outreach and collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new opportunities within the German market through outbound prospecting and targeted campaigns
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads, setting meetings for Account Executive teams
  • Collaborate with sales, channel, and marketing teams to plan and execute outreach strategies
  • Conduct account research to personalize outreach and develop meaningful engagement approaches
  • Support sales pipeline development by contributing to early-stage opportunity creation

Requirements

  • Experience with direct or indirect sales on Enterprise accounts, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and maintaining a robust pipeline, ideally with at least 2 years of inside field sales experience.
  • Professional proficiency in both German and English languages.
  • Ability to identify and engage net-new opportunities within the German market through outbound prospecting and targeted campaigns.
  • Experience in qualifying and converting inbound leads, and setting high-quality meetings for Account Executive teams.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth account research to personalize outreach strategies and develop meaningful engagement approaches.
  • Experience collaborating with Field Sales, Channel, and Marketing teams to align on territory plans and execute strategic outreach efforts.
  • Proficiency in utilizing sales enablement tools daily, including Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other modern technology stacks.
  • Ability to support sales pipeline progression and contribute to early-stage opportunity development with Account Executives.
  • Strong drive for sales and relationship building, demonstrating sales passion and ambition.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of Cloud Computing and Data Centre Architecture.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
