Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, designing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring data integrity within a data-intensive infrastructure, primarily focusing on quality assurance and automation in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for rapid, high-quality deployments of MDM applications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and SQL to enhance testing scalability and automation
- Own QA standards across the SDLC, triage and resolve complex system issues to ensure product quality
- Create specialized testing tools and operations to validate complex data integrations and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to conduct code reviews and develop comprehensive test plans
- Monitor and improve the performance and health of integration systems, identifying bottlenecks to increase release velocity and uptime
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in an industry setting, specifically within QA automation or software development.
- Deep proficiency in Python or similar programming languages and SQL for developing sophisticated automation scripts and querying complex databases.
- Proven ability to automate deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or industry-standard equivalent tools.
- Comprehensive grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including experience with Agile frameworks, regression testing, and white-box and black-box testing.
- An analytical mind capable of triaging site issues and implementing creative, scalable solutions for data-intensive projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to satisfy multiple stakeholders and lead feature or sub-system design reviews.
- Ability and willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Prague, Czech Republic office, in compliance with company policies.
